Processing returns and removal orders
Instead of writing returns off across the board: inspect them, document them and bring the saleable part back into stock.
Why returns need an address in Germany
Amazon sends returns and removal orders to an address in the country where the stock is held. Sellers without their own site in Germany therefore face a choice: either organise an expensive international return shipment or have Amazon dispose of the goods.
Neither is often economical, because a substantial proportion of returns are undamaged: wrong orders, opened but intact packaging, size returns. After a visual inspection and, where necessary, repacking, these units can be sent in again.
We provide the German returns address and take care of the processing.
What we do with a return
Every incoming unit goes through the same process:
- Receipt and allocation of the returned item to your stock.
- Visual inspection of every unit for completeness, damage and the condition of the packaging – €0.90 per unit, including a written condition report.
- Photo documentation on request, €0.30 per photo.
- Repacking of saleable units for a further FBA inbound shipment – €0.50 per unit in addition to returns receiving.
- New FNSKU labelling, if the original label is damaged – €0.39 per unit.
- Proper disposal of items that are no longer saleable – €0.30 per unit.
Our services are aimed exclusively at businesses within the meaning of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code).
Removal orders from the FBA warehouse
Removal orders – that is, stock you retrieve from the Amazon warehouse, for example ahead of an increase in long-term storage fees – can also be addressed to us.
We take in the consignment, reconcile it against the removal list and check its condition. You then decide item by item: send it in again, store it for your own dispatch or dispose of it.
Because Amazon frequently sends removal consignments in mixed cartons, sorting and allocation are part of the service.
