FAQ

Frequently asked questions about FBA prep

The questions sellers ask us most often before working with us for the first time.

How long does processing my goods take?
For standard orders we process your goods within 24–48 hours of goods receipt. For very large consignments or demanding special processes we agree the date with you in advance.
Is there a minimum quantity?
No. There is no minimum number of units. There is, however, a minimum order value of €25.00 net per individual order for prep and bundling services. If the order value falls below that, we charge the difference as a minimum order surcharge. Pure storage, outbound or returns orders without prep services do not trigger a minimum order surcharge.
What does FBA prep cost?
FBA complete prep costs €0.79 per unit, and FNSKU labelling on its own €0.39 per unit. All other items can be found in the full price list. All prices are net plus statutory VAT.
Is there a discount for new customers?
Yes. New customers receive a 10 % discount on the first delivery and 5 % on the second. The discount applies exclusively to prep services charged per unit and to a maximum of 2,000 units per delivery. Bundling, additional labels, photos, goods receipt, storage, outbound and returns, as well as shipping costs and third-party services, are excluded.
Do I have to supply the FNSKU labels myself?
Both are possible. You can provide us with finished labels as a PDF, or we can print the labels here to your specification. In both cases we check before application that the barcode and the ASIN match the consignment.
How do I deliver my goods?
You can deliver cartons by parcel service or pallets by freight forwarder. Please give us advance notice of every consignment by e-mail – with the number of packages, the date and the carrier. Label the packages on the outside with your company name.
How long can my goods stay with you?
For goods with a booked FBA prep service, interim storage is free of charge for the first 14 days. After that we charge storage pro rata for the actual storage period: €1.20 per carton per month or €19.00 per pallet per month.
Do you also handle returns?
Yes. We take in returns, inspect the condition of every unit and document the result. On request we prepare saleable goods for a further FBA inbound shipment; items that are no longer saleable are disposed of properly.
Do you also work with sellers from elsewhere in Europe?
Yes. A substantial proportion of our clients are based outside Germany and use us as their point of entry to the German and European Amazon market. We can communicate in German, English, Italian and French.
How is billing handled?
We invoice the services actually performed on the basis of the published price list. Invoices are due without deduction within 14 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Can I see the status of my consignment?
You receive all status updates by e-mail – there is no customer portal or login area. For every batch we send you a receipt confirmation stating the quantity, plus a notification as soon as the finished consignment has been handed over to the carrier. Photo documentation and inspection reports are also sent by e-mail.
What happens if goods arrive damaged?
Any damage we notice during the incoming inspection is reported to you before the goods are processed further – with photo documentation on request. You then decide whether the units concerned should nevertheless be sent in, repacked or disposed of.
Do I need a LUCID number for you to be allowed to work for me?
Yes. § 7 Abs. 7 VerpackG (German Packaging Act) prohibits fulfilment service providers from storing, packing, addressing or dispatching packaging subject to system participation where the producer is not registered in the LUCID packaging register and does not participate in a dual system. We therefore check your LUCID registration number and your system participation before the first order. You carry out the registration yourself with the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Central Agency Packaging Register) – it is free of charge and takes only a few minutes.
What applies to electrical items and batteries?
For electrical and electronic equipment you need a registration with stiftung ear (WEEE number) before placing it on the market. § 6 Abs. 2 S. 2 ElektroG (German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act) prohibits us, as a fulfilment service provider, from acting for producers that are not registered or not properly registered. The corresponding registration obligation under battery law applies to batteries and battery-powered devices. We check the WEEE number and the battery registration before the first order in exactly the same way as the LUCID number.
Who is the EU responsible person for imported goods?
That is for you to arrange. Under Art. 4 of Regulation (EU) 2019/1020, certain products may only be made available on the market in the EU if an economic operator established in the EU is designated as responsible and that operator's details appear on the product, on the packaging or in the accompanying documents. We provide the logistics service only: we act neither as importer nor as authorised representative and must not be named as the importer in customs or import documents.
